LTR Music Group – Official Beat Licensing Agreement

Beat Store: LTR Music Group

 

1. DEFINITIONS

“Producer” refers to LT and LTR Music Group.
“Licensee” refers to the person or entity purchasing this license.
“Beat” refers to the instrumental composition being licensed.
“Non-Exclusive License” refers to Basic or Premium licenses.
“Exclusive License” grants exclusive usage rights but does not transfer copyright.

 

2. OWNERSHIP

The Producer retains full copyright and ownership of the Beat at all times. This agreement grants the Licensee a limited license to use the Beat as outlined below. No ownership, authorship, or publishing rights are transferred unless explicitly stated.

Licensee may not: - Claim ownership of the Beat. - Register the Beat or instrumental version in Content ID systems. - Sell, lease, or re-license the Beat to any third party.

 

3. LICENSE TYPES & TERMS

A. BASIC LICENSE (Non-Exclusive)

File Delivery: MP3 (Tagged)
Rights Granted: - 1 commercial release - Up to 50,000 streams - Up to 1,000 physical copies - 1 music video (max 50,000 views) - Live performances allowed (non-ticketed or small venue)

Restrictions: - No major-label releases - No radio broadcast except internet radio - No monetized YouTube Content ID registration - Non-exclusive: Producer may continue licensing the Beat to others

Producer Credit: “Prod. by LT”

Term: 3 years from purchase date. Renewable.

 

B. PREMIUM LICENSE (Non-Exclusive)

File Delivery: MP3 + WAV (Untagged)
Rights Granted: - Unlimited non-profit releases - Up to 250,000 streams - Up to 5,000 physical copies - 1–2 music videos (max 250,000 views each) - Up to 3 radio stations - Live performances allowed

Restrictions: - No monetized Content ID registration of the Beat alone - Non-exclusive: Producer may continue licensing the Beat to others

Producer Credit: “Prod. by LT”

Term: 5 years from purchase date. Renewable.

 

C. EXCLUSIVE LICENSE

File Delivery: MP3 + WAV + STEMS (Untagged)
Rights Granted: - Unlimited commercial releases - Unlimited streams - Unlimited music videos - Unlimited radio stations - Unlimited live performances - Full commercial distribution on all DSPs

Additional Publishing: - Producer retains 50% publishing as co-composer - Licensee retains 50% songwriter share

Restrictions: - Licensee may not register the raw Beat alone in Content ID or fingerprinting systems - Exclusive license begins immediately upon purchase - The Producer may no longer license the Beat to new buyers once exclusive rights are sold

Producer Credit: “Prod. by LT”

Term: Perpetual (never expires)

Ownership: Producer retains copyright and underlying composition rights.

 

4. PERMITTED USES (All Licenses)

Licensee may: - Record vocals over the Beat - Edit structure (fade, cut, rearrange) - Mix/Master the Beat with vocals - Release on streaming platforms according to license tier - Perform the resulting song live

Licensee may NOT: - Add new instrumentation that changes the fundamental composition - Remove Producer audio tags on Basic license - Register the Beat alone with music rights organizations (ASCAP, BMI, etc.)

 

5. CREDIT REQUIREMENT

Licensee agrees to credit the Producer on all published materials, metadata, and descriptions as:

“Prod. by LT”

Failure to credit may result in termination of license.

 

6. CONTENT ID & MONETIZATION

• Non-exclusive license holders cannot upload the instrumental or Beat-only versions into YouTube Content ID, Facebook Rights Manager, or other fingerprinting systems.

• Exclusive license holders may register only the finished song, not the instrumental.

Violation may result in license termination.

 

7. PROHIBITED USES

Licensee may not use the Beat for: - Hate speech, extremist content, defamation, or harassment - Political campaigns or endorsements - Illegal activity promotion - Pornographic or explicit adult content

Producer reserves the right to revoke licenses for violations.

 

8. TERMINATION

Producer may terminate this license if Licensee violates terms. In the event of termination: - Licensee must remove all distributed content containing the Beat - Licensee loses all rights to use or monetize the Beat

No refunds will be issued for terminated licenses.

 

9. INDEMNIFICATION

Licensee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Producer from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Licensee’s use of the Beat.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United States.

 

11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document constitutes the entire agreement between Producer and Licensee regarding the Beat.
